Privacy notice

This notice describes the information used by the current free Secret Homes Abroad service.

Information we receive

When you sign in, the hosting platform provides your email address, a site-specific user identifier and, when available, your display name. We store your account preferences, saved property identifiers, private notes, contact requests, account creation time and a referral code.

How we use it

We use account information to deliver your shortlist and notes, remember preferences, respond to requests and protect the service from misuse. We do not sell account data or use private notes to target advertisements. Country and budget preferences do not currently trigger email delivery.

Storage and service providers

The service runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. They process the technical information needed to provide hosting, authentication, database storage and security. Processing may occur in countries other than your own. We do not currently collect card information or send a marketing newsletter.

Cookies and analytics

Sign-in uses authentication cookies managed by the hosting platform. The application does not currently add advertising pixels or nonessential analytics cookies. External listing sites have their own privacy practices and may set their own cookies when you visit.

Retention and security

We retain account data while your account is active or until a deletion request is processed, subject to lawful retention obligations and limited security records. Access to private notes is restricted to the account owner through application controls; authorized infrastructure operators may have technical access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can change preferences and remove saved homes in your member area. Download your account data there, or submit an access, correction or deletion request through the contact page. We may verify your identity before acting. We do not enroll you in future paid subscriptions or newsletters without the appropriate consent.

Children

The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child.
